Have you always dreamed of going to Egypt and seeing the sites that you’ve been hearing about since elementary school? Join us on a 16-day joint land-based tour and liveaboard safari trip to Egypt and the Red Sea!

We begin in Cairo, where we will enjoy a full day tour including the Pyramids, the Sphinx, and the Egyptian Museum. From Cairo we will travel south to Aswan, where we will embark upon a 3-night Nile cruise to Luxor, visiting Abu Simbel (optional), the High Dam, the Philae temple, Kom Ombo temples, and Edfu on the way. Once in Luxor, we will visit the West Bank of the Nile where the Colossi of Memnon, the Valleys of the Kings and Queens, and the Hatshepsut temple await you. That night, you will visit the Karnak temple for the Sound and Light show. The following day, you will visit the Karnak and Luxor temples, and the Luxor and Mummification museums.

After Luxor we travel to Marsa Alam, the place from which we will depart on our 7-night dive safari aboard the M/V Emperor Elite on the “Simply the Best” itinerary. We will dive the top sites in the South: Big and Little Brothers, Daedalus Reef and Elphinstone. These sites attract a diverse array of marine species and large pelagics. Large tuna, jacks and snappers cruise in the blue, accompanied by occasional hammerheads, silvertips, silky and oceanic white tip sharks and mantas. Even the rare thresher shark can be found here. For the coral lovers, there is rich growth of soft and hard corals. With warm, clear water and abundant marine life, it’s not shocking at all that Egypt’s Red Sea has long been considered one of the world’s top scuba diving destinations. The diversity of the Red Sea’s reefs means that there’s something for everyone whether you’re into hard-to-spot macro species or sharks.

If you never heard about this small, undiscovered island in the Caribbean, it’s only because it’s a well-kept secret. Unaffected by mass tourism St. Eustatius is not your average Caribbean island, imagine the Caribbean about 25 or 30 years ago and you get close. The reefs surrounding St. Eustatius are flourishing in a protected marine park. Underwater you will experience what much of the Caribbean must have looked like many years ago. The eye-catching volcano “the Quill” dominates the island with its impressive crater and is responsible for the huge amount of lava flows and blocks under the surface. These old labyrinths of lava are now fully overgrown with coral and sponges. Combine these reefs with numerous of historical dive sites and more recent sunk wrecks and you got yourself a divers paradise!

If colonial history is your fancy, you may be interested in the search for blue beads, Statia’s local currency in the 17th century. The famous Dutch West India Company used these beads to trade in tobacco, cotton, rum, and slaves. To this very day, the beads reappear whenever a fierce storm stirs up the sand on the bottom of the sea and around the island. According to the legend you don’t find blue beads but the beads find you, and if you’re found, you will return to St. Eustatius again and again. Blue beads are the only artifacts that are allowed to leave the island.

The best great white shark (Carcharodon Carcharias) encounters in the world are at Guadalupe Island and Nautilus is the best way to get in the water with them. That is a big statement to make, but we can back it up!!
The simple truth is that there are loads of great whites at Guadalupe, and a surprising number of them choose to interact with the shark boats. 261 individual white sharks have been identified just in the bay that we dive in. 261 and still counting! Partial proceeds of every trip go towards supporting shark scientists, research and conservation efforts, and the continuing effort to identify and learn more about this population of animals. We typically see 2 or 3 great white sharks at a time on 3 out of 4 submersible dives a day. We dive in aqua blue water, with 125 feet or more of visibility. The island itself is 25 miles long and provides a sheltered and calm anchorage during the 3 dive days. These are stunning numbers and it is what makes Guadalupe Island the best great white shark diving on the planet.

Turneffe Atoll, where the brand-new Belize Dive Haven is located, is southeast of Ambergris Caye and Caye Caulker, off the coast of Belize in Central America, 20 miles from Belize City. It is one of three atolls of the Belize Barrier Reef, besides Glover's Reef and Lighthouse Reef. It is approximately 30 miles long and 10 miles wide, making it the largest coral atoll in Belize and in the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef System. The atoll was officially declared a marine reserve on November 22, 2012, and as such makes for amazing scuba diving.

The 400+ islets are mostly covered in dense mangroves interspersed with shallow lagoons, feeding the surrounding waters with a nutrient rich soup. Many of the dive sites act as spawning sites for reef fish as the lagoons and mangrove shallows offer good protection for juvenile fish. For this reason, the marine biodiversity is unmatched in this region.

Turneffe has dive sites suitable for every level of diver. Along the western side, the shallow reefs are perfect for the novices and casual divers, while the varied topography on the east and south sides are more suited for the seasoned diver. Wrecks, drop-offs and channels make for a good variety of sites
and larger reef fish, turtles and spotted eagle rays are frequently sighted. The endemic white spotted toadfish is a delight to find for any diver.

Situated in the Pacific Ocean some 1,000 km from the South American continent, these 19 islands and the surrounding marine reserve have been called a unique 'living museum and showcase of evolution'. Located at the confluence of three ocean currents, the Galápagos are a 'melting pot' of marine species. Ongoing seismic and volcanic activity reflects the processes that formed the islands. These processes, together with the extreme isolation of the islands, led to the development of unusual animal life – such as the land iguana, the giant tortoise and the many types of finch – that inspired Charles Darwin's theory of evolution by natural selection following his visit in 1835.

Enjoy world class diving aboard the 33m luxury liveaboard, M/V Galapagos Sky. Galapagos Sky has a professional crew providing 5 star service for up to 16 guests. Scuba divers will enjoy up to four thrilling dives each day. The Galapagos Sky was designed for diver comfort and features dive platforms, fresh water showers, equipment and camera rentals, gear storage, Nitrox, two dive masters and fresh warm towels after every dive. Galapagos Sky takes scuba divers to the best dive sites including Wolf and Darwin Islands where Galapagos sharks, hammerheads, turtles, schools of tuna, manta rays, whale sharks and white tip sharks can be found.

Cenderawasih Bay is one of the last frontiers in diving. Few have witnessed the beauty and diversity of this place – it has been described as "The Galapagos of Indonesia's reefs" by none other than Dr Gerald Allen! As an indicator of biodiversity, the bay is home to 4 species of turtle: green, hawksbill, Pacific Ridley and leatherback, as well as much sought-after marine mammals such as dolphins and dugongs.
However, the main draw is the presence of numerous whale sharks and their unusual behavior. Whale sharks here gather together below fishing platforms, d
ining on the small fry that slip out of the fishing nets or are otherwise discarded by the fishermen. Imagine multiple whale sharks. from the still-large juveniles to massive adults, hanging vertically near the surface waiting for the tasty treats the fishermen throw their way.
Cenderawasih is also a beautiful place for the macro-lover with its fair share of pygmies, tiger prawns, nudibranchs, and sea snakes – there's something for everyone here. Join us aboard the luxurious Dewi Nusantara for a 10 night dive safari like none other!
